Gran Canaria Holidays is THE guide to your holidays on the island of Gran Canaria. We help you find interesting places to visit, show you what the hotels look like and suggest great bars and restaurants to check out.
Why are we different to the other Gran Canaria websites?
Our team is based in the south of Gran Canaria, we've probably walked past you in resort. 😅 So we can literally look out of our window and tell you what's happening and how sunny it is.
Sometimes the sun isn't shining and we get a rare rainy day, we'll also tell you that because we want you to see how it really is in our famous weather reports.
With over 40 years collectively working in Gran Canaria hotels, directly with guests, in bars, receptions and entertainment, our team have been right there with you in the hotels. We know what a great holiday in Gran Canaria looks like and hope to learn more from you as we improve this website.
In 2021 we merged with Gran Canaria Blog so now we also share a bit of island life and reviews along with our informative articles.
Meet The Team
So now you know what we do, it's time to meet the Gran Canaria Holidays team. In general our team likes to stay anonymous with the focus on the biggest and most important protagonist: the beautiful island that we are so lucky to call home. 🌴
Vikki
Vikki has has lived on Gran Canaria for almost 20 years and is very much an adopted Canarian. She created Gran Canaria Blog before social media, when it was difficult to find out what was happening on the island.
She translated information from posters, flyers and local Canary Islands news into English and shared to the blog so tourists could enjoy local events like Carnival or the Fiestas del Carmen during their visit and it went from there.
When she's not creating content, Vikki can be found drinking cortado largo on a terraza somewhere or walking the family dogs.
Admin
Admin who likes to remain somewhat mysterious, is native to Gran Canaria. He has lived all his life on the Mogán coast.
His idea to create a website for people planning their Gran Canaria holidays came about in 2004 when he made what is now the number one Puerto Rico Gran Canaria website. This idea expanded and he then created this website which includes the whole island.
