Visiting a waterpark while on holiday is a must do and in Gran Canaria you can choose at the time of writing you can choose between 2 waterparks in Gran Canaria, Aqualand Maspalomas or Lago Taurito Waterpark.
We talk here as well of the new waterpark that is being built and the waterparks in Gran Canaria that have shut down in the past.
Now open :
Aqualand Maspalomas is the biggest waterpark on the island, just minutes away from Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas thats a fantastic day out, if you are staying in the Puerto Rico area you will need to get the bus, taxi or hire a car for the day.
Lago Taurito is located in the resort of Taurito just minutes away from Puerto Rico. This waterpark is a bit smaller than Aqualand Maspalomas but is perfect for those staying in Puerto de Mogan, Taurito or Puerto Rico as is the closest one to them.
As well if you are staying in Taurito in one of the Paradise Hotels you have free entrance to the waterpark so if you are looking for a Hotel with waterpark deal in Gran Canaria this is the one.
